Our mainstream international share options are managed by six world-class fund managers chosen by Mercer Investment Consulting. The five active and one passive managers are selected to conform with our style-diversified approach to managing shares. We believe this approach gives the best chance of outperformance in a risk-controlled manner across a broad range of market conditions.

Each of the managers has been chosen by Mercer as representing the best in its field. The passive manager is the UK-based Henderson Global Investors. The five active managers are those that manage the “Core” portion of the international shares portfolio within our Future Directions Funds. The active managers are a mixture of value, growth and neutral styles.
